POCATELLO, Idaho—Idaho men's tennis kicked off the 2017 fall season at the Idaho State Bank of Commerce Tournament over the weekend.
The Vandals had strong double performances in the tournament and had some positive singles results as well.
Mark Kovacs and Carlos Longhi Neto played as the top-ranked doubles pairing in the field. The doubles tournament started on Thursday with the pair getting a first-round bye. The duo scored an 8-5 win over Boise State's Tim Heslin and Harvey Shackleton. The Idaho pair advanced to the semifinals with its 8-3 win over Southern Utah's Jonathan Morales and Conor Tordoff.
