SAMMAMISH, Wash. - Idaho senior Enrique Marin shot a 1-under 70 Wednesday, in the final round of the Husky Invitational at Aldarra Golf Club, to climb into a tie for fifth place at 4-over. The Vandals improved each round to finish 10th as a team at 94-over (390-386-383=1159). The Husky Invitational featured six golfers per team, scoring the top five in each round. Traditional tournaments play five per team and score four.
Sophomore Adam Veenstra nabbed a top-25 finish in his season debut. Veenstra tied for 23rd at 12-over after shooting 4-over 75 in each of his three rounds.
