FARMINGTON, Utah – The Big Sky Conference announced its first women's basketball Player of the Week award on Tuesday afternoon, Kyra Gardner of the Idaho Vandals Women's Basketball team was tabbed as this week's winner of the award.
Gardner, who is coming off what is easily the best week of her career, started the season with a game that felt like it was tailor-made for Hollywood. After spending the prior three seasons at Washington State, Gardner transferred to Idaho this offseason and got the first start of her career against her former squad.
