Texans looking for progress from RBs Lamar Miller, D'Onta Foreman

HOUSTON -- When the Houston Texans drafted running back D’Onta Foreman in the third round a year ago, they were hoping they could build a strong one-two punch with Lamar Miller, who was coming off a solid first season in Houston.

Instead, Miller averaged a career-worst 3.7 yards per carry and finished with 35 fewer touches despite playing in two more games than he did in 2016. Foreman saw more playing time as the season went on and showed improvement before he tore his Achilles in Week 11 against the Arizona Cardinals.
