Bill O'Brien gives Texans' players day off for Thanksgiving

As the Texans prepare for a Monday night game against the Tennessee Titans, their week will include time off for Thanksgiving.

Texans coach Bill O'Brien is a big fan of Thanksgiving and wants the players to celebrate the holiday. The Texans will practice Wednesday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday.

"Thanksgiving, it's my favorite holiday," O'Brien said. "I'm not big into presents and I don't really enjoy birthdays. I do like Christmas, but I'm not a big present guy. I'd rather eat a lot of food and that's why I like Thanksgiving.

"I like the Fourth of July too because I like the fireworks.
