Rockets blast past Trailblazers

Just days after the Rockets were looking for some way, any way to get by while so desperately shorthanded, they never looked more complete in their surge to their place as the NBA’s hottest team.

With Clint Capela and Danuel House Jr. back from injuries, Russell Westbrook enjoying perhaps his best game with the Rockets and James Harden continuing his roll, the Rockets on Monday romped past the Trail Blazers, 132-108, with their eighth-consecutive win giving them the longest active winning streak in the NBA.

Before heading out on test of a road trip to Denver and Los Angeles for a Clippers rematch, the Rockets had every starter in double figures just a game after they played with four of their top five scorers out.
