The Houston Rockets have seen a lot of talented players come and go in recent years. One of them, Nate Williams, is having a fantastic season - in the G-League.
It's a product of roster churn. No NBA team can keep every decent player they land. Fans will get attached, but sometimes, the team has to move on.
That was the case with Williams. He endeared himself to Rockets fans at times. Williams is solid, but his solidness wasn't enough to warrant hanging onto him.
Still, his G-League performance this year may give at least some Rockets fans pause for thought.
