Snakebitten Pack Have Few Hopes for Rest of Season

Without Rodgers, no amount of big gains from newly-christened No. 1 receiver Davante Adams could make up for Brett Hundley’s sheer ineptitude. Without Rodgers, a 3rd and 3 can begin to feel like 3rd and 30. But the team’s goose egg performance also had to do with a run game lacking explosion, with its top two rushers out injured. When potential 2018 starter Justin McCray went down along the offensive line, Jason Spriggs gave up any legitimate chance of keeping Hundley properly protected.

Defensively, the Packers’ performance Sunday would have been good enough to get a ‘W’ most weeks if the offense even shows up.
