Going into the preseason, inside linebacker was arguably the weakest position on the Green Bay Packers‘ roster. Not because of starters Blake Martinez or Oren Burks, but rather the lack of depth the team had at the position.
Well, injuries sure haven’t helped. The Packers lost Burks in the preseason-opening victory over the Houston Texans. While his injury won’t require surgery, it’s still unclear when he’ll be able to make his return.
With Burks out, Curtis Bolton looked to have stepped up into the starting role next to Martinez.
