Packers say first home game operations went well amid switch to digital tickets, concession worker shortage

GREEN BAY – With a full-capacity, regular-season crowd for the first time in 20 months, the Green Bay Packers said the Sept. 20 Monday night game at Lambeau Field went as well as could be expected.

The Packers and their fans had some challenges they didn't face the last time 77,000 people showed up for a game, including mobile ticketing, worker shortages and the first full-stadium experience with cashless food and drink sales.

This year, the Packers abandoned paper tickets for digital ones, as required of every NFL team. The team says digital tickets deter counterfeiting and, when people are familiar with them, should be easier to manage.
