In recent weeks, the NFC North’s most disgruntled player has not been a secret with Aaron Rodgers absent from the Green Bay Packers’ minicamps. But if not for such unique circumstances, another player would be gaining more headlines for similar reasons.
After plenty of speculation about Danielle Hunter boycotting the Minnesota Vikings’ own minicamps, a newly restructured deal will keep the defensive end on the practice fields and in a purple uniform for at least another year. While Hunter’s 2022 status is a little shakier, the Vikings will have a key member of their roster in place and avoid a Rodgers-like distraction.
