It’s been 27 years and 15 days since the Dallas Cowboys last played in the NFC Championship game.

On Jan. 14, 1996, the Cowboys beat the Green Bay Packers, 38-27. Two weeks later, the Cowboys beat the Pittsburgh Steelers 30-28 in Super Bowl XXX to claim their third Super Bowl in four years.

While the world has evolved in the past 9,877 days, there’s one constant: The Cowboys are still trying to get back to the NFC title game and that elusive Super Bowl appearance.
