For Packers, Old Habits Die Hard

A year ago, we were just getting used to the idea of Jordy Nelson not being on the Packers roster for the first time in 10 years.

General manager Brian Gutekunst has shown that he won't let nostalgia get in the way of keeping his roster fresh with younger talent.

Note: Cobb's case is unique in that he's only 28 years old, but injuries have limited his production greatly over the past two seasons.

Whether that younger talent will pan out better than keeping those veterans around remains to be seen.

No one is mistaking either Marquez Valdes-Scantling or Equanimeous St.
