Chiefs expected to trade CB Marcus Peters to Rams, per reports

The Kansas City Chiefs are making a name for themselves in the trade market this offseason. A few weeks after agreeing to trade quarterback Alex Smith to Washington, GM Brett Veach is at it again.

On Friday, the Chiefs reportedly are finalizing the details on a trade of cornerback Marcus Peters to the Los Angeles Rams, with compensation yet to be confirmed. The only confirmation is that it will involve a “package of draft picks,” according to Ian Rapoport. Peters, who is a two-time Pro Bowler and was named first team All-Pro in 2016, has been a star for the Chiefs in his three years in the NFL.
