Everything clicked for the Zags and in their second home game of the weekend GU beat Memphis 3-2.
This was a huge victory for GU, considering coming into this game Memphis was ranked No. 23 and before the game GU was unranked. With this win it marks the first win for GU over a ranked team in over 10 years.
“They were super fast so that was definitely hard for us to adapt to,” India Jenks said.
Despite the pressure of going into a game against a ranked team and having little recovery time from their win against Fairleigh Dickinson the Zags excelled and rose to the challenge.
