On Monday, redshirt sophomore India Jencks was named WCC Player of the Week. She joins sophomore Madeline Gotta as the second Zag to be named as such this season.
Jencks has nine goals this season and leads the WCC in both total points and points per game.
The forward recorded a brace in each of GU's victories this weekend against Farleigh Dickinson and No. 23 Memphis. Jencks has either a goal or assist in every game this season and already ranks in GU's top five for goals in a season, just nine matches into the year.
The Zags currently sit at 7-1-1 and are undefeated at home.
