The Golden State Warriors are deciding to waive a player from their roster who they had signed to a two-way contract last offseason.

Shams Charania is reporting that the Warriors are waiving Chris Boucher, who appeared in 1 NBA game last season for the Warriors. Boucher will now become an unrestricted free agent when the NBA free agency period begins on July 1.

Boucher has had quite the basketball journey. He was born in San Lucia but moved to Canada as a child and grew up in Montreal.

He dropped out of high school at age 16, but a strong performance in a basketball tournament led to a spot on an AAU team.
