Warriors SF Andrew Wiggins will miss tonight’s game with left knee soreness

The Golden State Warriors have listed small forward Andrew Wiggins out with left knee soreness for their preseason matchup against the Los Angeles Lakers on Friday. The Warriors are also missing rookie Jonathan Kuminga, who has a strained patella tendon, so head coach Steve Kerr will have to dig deeper into his wing depth. That could lead to an expanded opportunity for rookie Moses Moody.

Wiggins has been one of the most durable players in the NBA throughout his career, missing just one game in his first four professional seasons. However, despite playing in 71 of the Warriors' 72 games last season, Wiggins dealt with minor knee issues throughout the year.
