After being held relatively in check for the past two games, Golden State Warriors forward Kevin Durant exploded for 38 points.
One of the subplots of the NBA playoff series was how Clippers guard Patrick Beverley’s defense was disrupting Durant on the offense end. So far, he was kind of successful holding the all-star to 23 points in Game 1 and 21 points in Game 2. The third contest was different as Durant dominated from the start. He scored 27 points in the first half. He also chipped in four rebounds and seven assists in the 132-105 win.
