Warriors’ big man Damian Jones will play for the Warriors’ summer league team this summer, a league source told the Bay Area News Group.
This year will mark Jones’ second straight stint on the Warriors’ summer league team. Last summer, after missing most of the 2016-17 season with a torn right pectoral muscle, Jones averaged 8.1 points, 5.0 rebounds and 1.8 blocks in six games.
Jones will participate in both the California Classic in Sacramento from July 2-5 and the annual tournament in Las Vegas from July 6-17.
Jones, who was drafted 30th overall in the 2016 Draft, spent much of this season stashed in the G-League, averaging 15 points, 8.
