Georgia great and Patriots rookie running back Sony Michel has used his first NFL paycheck to buy his mom and dad new cars, a purchase common among many rookies. Michel has often stated that he owes it all to his parents, who made serious sacrifices for him to get an education and play football.
Michel became the 3rd most decorated Georgia rusher while at UGA and the 31st overall pick in the NFL Draft. After signing an endoresment deal with Adidas and a contract with the Patriots, Michel bought his mom an Audi Q7 and dad a Chevy Silverado.
