Georgia's defense dominates Missouri in win, but offense loses four to injury

The No. 6 ranked Georgia Bulldogs beat the Missouri Tigers in Sanford Stadium on Saturday night by a score of 27-0.

Georgia, which visits Auburn next weekend, moves to 8-1 on the season and 5-1 in conference play.

The Dawgs’ defense came to play, shutting out the Tigers and their backup quarterback, Taylor Powell.

Georgia’s defense held Missouri to 198 total yards while Jake Fromm and the offense put up 339.

Fromm completed 13/29 passes for 173 yards, two touchdowns and no interceptions and D’Andre Swift carried the ball 12 times for 83 yards.

The Georgia run defense proved again it is the best in America, holding Missouri to 50 rushing yards on 24 carries.
