Kirby Smart and the University of Georgia have the No. 3-ranked class of 2022 in the country following a recent decommitment. The Georgia Bulldogs previously jumped the Ohio State Buckeyes to have the nation’s No. 1-ranked college football recruiting class back in April.
The Buckeyes have moved back into the top slot. The LSU Tigers have the second-best class of 2022.
The recruiting rankings shifted following elite defensive tackle Bear Alexander’s decommitment from UGA. Kirby Smart and Georgia have plenty of time to recover. The Dawgs have 11 commitments in the class and are looking for more following a busy opening to the month.
