The Georgia baseball team stared down injury adversity every weekend of the 2019 season, never blinking on the way to the third 40-win season in program history. Now brimming with confidence, the Georgia baseball team will get two chances against hapless Alabama (7-21 in SEC play) to reach the 42 win mark and claim the third 20 win SEC season in program history.
“Forty wins, that’s pretty special, it’s only been done three times in the history of our program in the regular season,” said Georgia coach Scott Stricklin to Mike Griffeth of DawgNation.
