The University of Florida’s head coach Dan Mullen confirmed that his starting quarterback, Feleipe Franks will be out for the remainder of the season after suffering a dislocated and fractured ankle.
Franks will have a six-month recovery process starting next Monday after his surgery. The Gators quarterback gruesomely injured his ankle this past week in a game against Kentucky on an awkward 4th and 1 sack.
Florida looked down for the count with 3:21 remaining in the 3rd quarter, down 21-10, their starting quarterback being carted of the field all happening on a turnover on downs.
