The Georgia Bulldogs are projected by most outlets as a top-three team to open the 2021 college football season.
ESPN’s Football Power Index, however, is not terribly high on the Dawgs this season, despite the return of quarterback JT Daniels and a loaded offense.
Georgia checked in at No. 7 in the FPI’s preseason rankings, in the same tier as Mississippi State, which ranked No. 8.
