Bulldogs Must Stop Dropping The Ball Before The Endzone

Two weeks ago at South Carolina, UGA got things going early with an electric pick-6 to open the game. Well, it would have been a pick-6, that is, if not for Deandre Baker bafflingly dropping the football inches before crossing the plain.

After this debacle, Kirby Smart made it clear that Baker would receive plenty of work at practice to ensure this would not happen again. Given the implication of these words, along with Kirby’s old-school reputation, it was understood that this dropping of the ball would be a one time thing.

This week Deandre Baker got some extra practice from Kirby Smart running the ball across the goal line on interception returns.
