Another year, and more rumors of FSU football coach Jimbo Fisher being a top candidate for universities potentially looking to hire an elite coach.
LSU has openly pursued Fisher the last couple of years, and others like Texas have flirted with him before settling on Tom Herman.
This year the hot name is Texas A&M even though they have yet to fire current coach Kevin Sumlin. Tennessee has fired Butch Jones and UCLA fired Jim Mora on his birthday Sunday and I’m sure Fisher’s name will be thrown in those directions by media too for whatever reason.
