FSU football: Top 5 observations heading into the bye week

FSU football may have just played its most complete game since destroying Boston College 45-7 in 2016.

Ironically, that was a 7:30 p.m. night game at Doak Campbell Stadium with nearly 74,000 fans in attendance.

The Noles are coming off a dominant 31-13 win over NC State, a team that had beaten them in consecutive seasons.

The win moves FSU football over .500 for the first time since they were (4-3) after beating Wake Forest in late October 2018.

Of course, FSU went on to finish the season 1-4 en route to missing a bowl game for the first time in almost 40 years.
