FSU football: Top 3 observations from ‘Noles win over Syracuse

FSU football started the game hot by scoring on their first two offensive possessions to take the early lead.

After an offensive lull the Noles scored a touchdown right before the half and then took their first offensive possession in the second half down for a touchdown.

That’s unheard of for the Noles in this day and age. The FSU defense was playing against a limited offense, but shut them down the way they were supposed to.

They padded their stats with seven sacks and 12 tackles for loss while holding Syracuse to 4.08 ypp (which includes garbage time).
