FSU Football: Games against N.C. State have shaped Noles program

Now, FSU football fans, it’s time for a quiz here at Chop Chat: name the ACC program – other than the Miami Hurricanes – that the Seminoles have played the most over their 71 season history. Hint: it isn’t Clemson or Wake Forest, two long time southern football teams who played the Noles back in the day…and it isn’t Virginia Tech, who used to play the Noles yearly when they were both independents.

The answer may surprise you – as it is actually the N.C. State Wolfpack, who have played Florida State 37 times since their first game during the 1952 season (a contest which the Seminoles led in the fourth quarter before a late Wolfpack touchdown to give them a 13-7 win.
