In the week that Willie Taggart has been the 11th all-time head coach for the FSU football program, there is a general consensus from everyone (well, except those living in Eugene, Oregon) that he has done everything right: from a press conference that was a home run to actively recruiting top players, the new head Nole is making people very happy.
Of course, the real test will be starting September 3rd when Taggart coaches his first game for the Seminoles as they host Virginia Tech in a primetime showdown on Labor Day. Taggart was brought in to do something that hasn’t happened since the 2014 season – win the ACC Championship and take the Noles back to the College Football Playoff.
