Dominic Calvert-Lewin hopes the convincing Carabao Cup win over Sunderland on Wednesday night will spark an Everton revival.

The youngster scored twice as the Toffees eased past the Championship side at Goodison Park - winning 3-0 - to book their spot in the fourth round.

It ended a miserable run of form for the Merseyside club which had seem them lose four successive matches without scoring, and Calvert-Lewin says it has given the players a major boost ahead of Saturday’s Premier League clash with Bournemouth.
