Duke freshman Wendell Carter Jr.'s mother, Kylia Carter, switched seats during the first half of Duke's game against Rhode Island after a verbal altercation with a group of Rams fans seated behind Duke's traveling party.
Carter said the fans were heckling her.
Security at the game warned the fans and things calmed down.
