Social media can be funny at times. Take Thursday’s dog pile of State fans onto a misstep by UConn.
Apparently a UConn student designed came up with a logo for the UConn student situation that was, uh, very close to a Wolfpack logo.
State fans basically (and understandably) pitched a fit on social media and before long word got back to UConn administrators who apologized and took the logo down, explaining that an undergrad had basically swiped it and that it wouldn’t be used after all.
Social media gets a lot of justified criticism.
