Duke got a commitment Thursday from Davidson forward Bates Jones, brother of former Duke QB Daniel Jones, and on Friday got another commitment: Theo John from Marquette.
John, who is about 6-9 and 250, will add strength and shot blocking to Duke’s lineup and, not least of all, experience.
Since he played for Wojo at Marquette, he’ll have some insights into Duke’s systems and expectations which will help him and Duke a lot. It sounds like a great pickup for the Blue Devils.
