DURHAM, N.C. – After leading Duke in points scored in 2020, freshman Caroline DeBellis was named to the All-ILWomen Rookie Team by Inside Lacrosse, the publication announced Tuesday afternoon.
The Cold Springs Harbor, N.Y., native became the fourth Blue Devil in the last six years to be named to the team, all of them playing attack.
DeBellis enjoyed a plethora of success throughout her first year in Durham. Although incomplete, the freshman led the Blue Devils (6-3, 1-1 ACC) offensively with 32 points on 13 goals and a team-leading 19 assists.
