DURHAM, N.C – The Duke baseball program was tabbed No. 16 in Baseball America's Preseason Top 25, the organization announced Monday.
Duke is one of seven ACC teams ranked in the top 25, joining No. 5 Virginia, No. 7 Louisville, No. 9 Florida State, No. 11 Miami, No. 17 NC State and No. 22 Georgia Tech. The ACC's seven teams ranked the second most by a conference, following the SEC's nine.
The Blue Devils closed out the shortened 2020 season ranked 10th in the final poll from Baseball America.
Head coach Chris Pollard returns eight starting position players and three starting pitchers from the year before.
