Alan Trammell will be honored by state legislators in Lansing, manager Ron Gardenhire will be in Toledo and other Detroit Tigers will be scattered throughout the metro area as part of the team's annual caravan.
The two full days of community events lead up to TigerFest at Comerica Park on Jan. 27.
On Wednesday, Tigers right fielder Nicholas Castellanos will be inducted into the West Michigan Whitecaps Hall of Fame during the team's annual January banquet.
At the same time, Gardenhire will be in Toledo for the Mudhens' annual winter party.
