The Detroit Tigers reportedly will return to training in Lakeland, Florida, after all.
On Monday night, Major League Baseball asked the MLB Players Association whether players would be willing to report to spring training by July 1.
The Players — who in recent days were rallying behind the slogan, “When and where,” — are expected to comply and end the months-long standstill between MLB and MLBPA.
The Tigers' plans haven’t changed — training will be held in Lakeland, according to multiple reports, including FOX 2’s Jennifer Hammond.
