Pistons floor being laid down at Little Caesars Arena

There comes a point when major changes in life begin to seem a bit more real. For the Detroit Pistons, that point may have come with the laying down of the playing court at Little Caesars Arena in downtown Detroit.

For the first time, the Pistons’ court was installed at the arena on Tuesday morning. They’ll begin the preseason on October 4th against the Charlotte Hornets, which will be the first time the court is used for real in-game action.

The floor arrived from the Palace of Auburn Hills Monday night, and Andre Drummond was on hand to observe the unloading of the pieces as you can see below in tweets from the Pistons’ official account.
