Pistons brace for LeBron and Cavs, revamped Thunder

The surging Detroit Pistons hit a couple of bumps along the road last week, losing in Milwaukee and Indiana, blowing a 22-point lead in the latter game.

But the avoided a disastrous road trip with a 100-97 victory Sunday at Minnesota, snapping the Timberwolves’ three-game winning streak.

They will make a quick pit stop at home Monday, where they have won six in a row and are 7-1. They are 11-5 overall.
