Video: Matthew Stafford hits Ty Johnson for second quarter touchdown

Detroit Lions quarterback Matthew Stafford played for the first time this preseason during the team’s Week 3 match up against the Buffalo Bills, and it gave the offense an instant boost. Stafford led the offense into the end zone for the first time in the second quarter, when he found rookie running back Ty Johnson for an 11-yard score early to give the team a 10-7 lead.

Johnson was selected by the Lions in the sixth round of the 2019 NFL draft. The speedster looks like a lock to make the 53-man roster but is fighting for playing time in the upcoming season.
