Lions' wins against Bears and Browns featured same problems and answers

CHICAGO -- Detroit Lions players and coaches love to say they're locked in on one game at a time, that all that matters is winning that game.

For two straight weeks, they've done that. They beat the 3-7 Chicago Bears 27-24 one week after topping the 0-10 Cleveland Browns by a 38-24 final.

Neither looked pretty, and if both of them elicit the same reaction, it's because they were the same game in a few different ways:

  • In both games, the Lions fell down 10-0 before coming back to win.
  • They gave up almost identical rushing totals -- 201 yards and two touchdowns to the Browns, 222 yards and two touchdowns to the Bears.
