Lions injury report: D’Andre Swift practices, Kenny Golladay still out

Though the Detroit Lions did place two key members of the team on injured reserve this week—cornerback Desmond Trufant and defensive tackle Danny Shelton—they could be getting some key players back this week, as well.

Chief among them is running back D’Andre Swift. The Lions second-round pick has missed the past two games with a concussion, but it appears he’s trending towards making his return this Sunday against the Chicago Bears. Swift was a limited participant in Wednesday’s practice, meaning he could play this week provided he doesn’t have a setback.

Swift was just becoming an integral part of the offense prior to his injury.
