Lions don’t anticipate being active at trade deadline, but are ‘open to listening’

The NFL trade deadline is Tuesday, November 2, at 4:00 p.m. ET, and unless the Detroit Lions are presented with an appealing offer, they appear poised to stand pat with the roster they have.

Coach Dan Campbell was asked about the Lions potentially being active at the deadline and he commented, “I don’t see anything right now that I can say has any legs.”

That’s not unusual for a rebuild, as the Lions have either already cast off most of their tradable pieces (Hello, Matthew Stafford) or invested in them long-term (Hello, Frank Ragnow).

But the cupboard isn’t entirely bare and there have been some speculated trades suggested by the national media.
