INDIANAPOLIS — It’s the chicken or the egg of the NFL, something Detroit Lions coach Matt Patricia said he has been debating “for at least the last 20 years.”
And in the Lions’ case this year, it’s not just a philosophical discussion about what’s more valuable, a lock-down cornerback or front-seven pass rusher. It’s the real-life choice they might face with the No. 3 pick in the draft.
