Detroit Lions get ex-Patriots DT Danny Shelton on 2-year, $8 million deal

The Detroit Lions agreed to terms with another ex-Patriot on Wednesday, reaching agreement with Shelton on a two-year contract worth $8 million, his agent Drew Rosenhaus said.

Shelton, the 12th overall pick by the Cleveland Browns in the 2015 draft, spent the last two years in New England and is coming off the best season of his career.
