ENGLEWOOD, Colo. – Denver Broncos safety T.J. Ward was in uniform for Wednesday’s practice – a fully padded affair – but early on Ward went back to the locker room to trade his helmet for a hat as he works back from a hamstring injury. He did not take part in drills for the remainder of the workout.
Ward has not played in the preseason, but had practiced Tuesday for the first time since early in training camp. However, since he was held out of Wednesday’s work it seems unlikely he would play Saturday night against the Green Bay Packers.
