Shaquil Barrett is going to play his way to an extension in 2018

I honestly don’t think Shaquil Barrett got enough praise for the level of play he showed in 2017. He played well, despite being overshadowed by Shane Ray, the Broncos’s other edge rusher. In 2017, the Broncos focused so much on getting Ray to play (even though he was unprepared for this responsibility) that Barrett was not able to demonstrate his full potential.

Even still, Barrett made a positive impact to the team through his superb goals against the run and his consistency as a pass rusher.

Shaquil Barrett PFF Grade
